UET Aggregate Calculator
In UET, aggregate is calculated with 30% ECAT marks and 70% FSc/Diploma/DAE marks weightage. For example if you got 910 marks in FSc and 290 marks in entry test, then you can calculate you aggregate as follows:
(910 x 70/1100) + (290 x 30/400) = 79.659%

Similarly you can calculate aggregate for NUST also. But in NUST, aggregate is not declared usually and only selected candidates are notified. NUST aggregate can be calculated as follows:
NUST Entry Test = 75%
HSSC / A level / Equivalent / DAE or HSSC Part-I = 15%
Matriculation / O Level = 10%

what score is required in ECAT for petroleum engg? i expect 920 marks in fsc and got 940 marks in matric
You’ll need 270+ marks in ECAT for petroleum engineering. Matric marks are not counted towards aggregate calculation.

UET grw campus mein mechanical engineering ka merit 76% hai. abhi to apka part1 ka result aya hai. aap mehnat karen. abhi apko ye koshish karni chahye k part2 mein ache marks like 500+ secure kr saken(i know you can do it). us ke baad entry test mein bhi ache marks lye ja sakte hein, don’t worry. Is saal apko ECAT mein appear bhi hona chahye tha.

Lahore campus k lye 300 se ziada, ksk campus k lye 275 se ziada marks chahye honge. Rachna mein admission k lye above 240 marks chahye honge apko.

230 ya above marks k sath apka admission uet mein ho skta hai. matric k marks count nahin hote. aur ye is pe bhi depend krta hai k aap kis field mein admission chahte hein.

Merit is ~75%. So you’ll need more than 250 marks.

Apply krne ke lye 50% hone chayhein. merit 65-68% (aggregate) hota hai.

W.salam. you need 290 or more marks. Merit of uet peshawar is low so you can try.

G bohat si universities mein BSc chemical engineering wale MSc petroleum engineering k lye eligible hein. Aur chemical engg krne k baad bohat ziada chances hein k apka zehn change ho jae. kyun k BSc hi base hoti hai. Ek option ye hai k aap FSc improve kr k admission direct petroleum mein lein. Lekin Chemical engineering apki petroleum ki khahish poori kr de gi. Chemical engg will be a good bet.

UET offers petroleum engg. You’ll need at least 300 marks to get admission in Petroleum engineering.

Agar degree standard ki baat kr rahe hein to teeno top class hein. NCEAC k mutabiq ‘W’ category (highest ranked) hein. agar wese preference ki bat kr rahe hein to SE aur CS ko IT pe prefer kiya jata hai.

sir is mechanical a good field or chemical. which one has better opportunity and demand as well.kindly tell me about the difference ad outlines of both fields.also if a person wants to earn in pakistan,the which one is more prior.
Both are very good. but Mechanical engg has more scope in pakistan. You can see course outlines in prospectus to see which field better interests you.

UET Lahore is the only university which offers petroleum engineering.

GCU lahore only display names of candidates selected for admission.
but you can estimate last year’s merit. the aggregate of candidate sr no. 35 on this (3rd) merit list was 70.47% (with 907/1100 in FSc and 170/400 in ECAT)

Achi hai. GCU telecom mein specialization krwati hai. 69-70% pe admission ho jata hai.

It depends. There are good chances for a person to get job or settle in power and energy sector as compared to electronics or telecom. So if you’ve got admission in power engineering in COMSATS, then go for COMSATS otherwise UOL will be a better option.

Jis university mein apka admission ho jae wo achi hai 🙂 . All three are top universities for chemical engineering. 1. NUST 2.PU 3.UET

NUST private university hai is lye main ne usko pehle likhe tha. lekin jesa k main ne kaha k teeno universities bohat achi hein isi lye koi farq nahi parta. PU aur UET mein se chemical engineering k lye PU ko prefer kiya jata hai kyun k PU ki faculty aur facilities for chemical engg are better than that of UET. but uet is also good for chemical engineering. If you are neutral then the preferences should be this way in my opinion: Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical (because there is hell lot of competition in electrical engg)

Entry test General intermediate level topics mein se hota hai. Lekin Behtr ye hai k FSc ki books se parha jae.

Your marks are very good. but you can apply only against reserved seats and there are only a few. so you should get high marks in entry test like 280 or above.

Petroleum engineering mein apka admissoin 350/400 marks k sath bhi mushkil hail. you should consider a low merit field. (some are even better than petroleum)
