UET Taxila Final Merit lists 2013:
Most of the FSc pre-engineering students want to get admission in UET Lahore, but merit of UET Lahore is very high (Have a look at UET Lahore Merit) so students consider other options. UET Taxila is other best UET (in case students care for name 😉 ) and also its merit is low relative to UET Lahore. If we have a look at previous merit lists of UET Taxila, we see that merit of year 2013 was low as compared to merit of 2012 and 2011 (ECAT was difficult in 2011). This was because last year, UET Taxila removed its category A2 which was for reserved seats for self-finance and had low merit. But after removing seats for self-finance, they increased seats of open merit.

Entry test mein 230 se above marks kafi honge. Agar apne air university aur uet k ilawa kahin aur nahi apply kiya (ya admission nahi hua) to air university mein admission zaroor lein.

No for engineering, there is no deduction of marks for repeaters.

Your aggregate becomes 73.5%. with this aggregate, you can get admission in CRP (non-engineering), polymer, Mechatronics (fsd), electrical (narowal), mining, Geological and Industrial (gujranwala) engg of UET Lahore. In UET Taxila, you can get into Industrial, software, computer, telecom and environmental engineering.
sir e-cat ki preperation kay lye koi book bta saktay hain
After reading your course books, take any ecat preparation book (kips, unique, punjab college) to review your preparation. solve mcqs with reasoning. punjab college books are difficult, so go with kips or unique academy preparation books. which books you are studying now?
I have Got 436/550 in first year , And 978/1050 In matric . How much marks Do I need to get admission in electrical or civil? Is it difficult :S ?
Marks of Matric are not counted for admission in uet. roughly estimated your FSc marks to 80%. For electrical or civil in lahore campus, you should get high marks like 320 or more in ECAT. but you should consider other campuses as merit is low. you can get admission with as low as 250/400 marks. Civil engg is offered in narowal campus and merit of electrical engg is low in rcet campus gujranwala.
And what about architecture?
Merit of Architecture is going to increase. We cannot predict without knowing ecat marks. you can get admission in Architecture if you secure 255 or more in ecat.
Sir i want to ask that is there any kind of marks deduction for repeaters in uet lahore or any other campus .
No there is no deduction of any kind.

Wa alaikum assalam! there is no best online site. even online preparation is not best at all. best is to study your course books. when you try to prepare online, there are multiple choice questions mostly without explanations, then students try to memorize (ratta) questions. this doesn’t help or improve concepts.

Jis exam mein highest marks honge wo consider honge. e.g. B-Tech mein 78% marks hein and DAE(jis ki base pe pehle Btech mein admission lia tha) mein 75% marks hein to Btech k marks consider honge. isi tarah agar DAE mein 80% aur Btech mein 70% honge to DAE k marks consider honge. lekin formula 70-30 ka hi apply hoga.

W.salam! Yes you can apply again. there are many students in uet with ~880 marks. 888 marks are very good. Just do good in ECAT, and uet is waiting for you there.

sir i scored 881 in f.sc in 2013 but i did not get admission in any engineering university due to bad marks in ecat only 183 now i am applying in e-cat 2014. my friends said to me that marks are deducted from my agregrate approxiametly 2%, is it is true?
2% from aggregate is deducted in Punjab University, not in uet. don’t worry. There is no deduction in any case at uet.

W alaikum assalam. change in merit is very slight each year. so don’t worry about merit. 885 marks are good. it depends upon your performance in entry test. if you do good in ecat 2014, then you’ve got fair chances of admission.

Merit of 2013 electrical engg (s category) was 75% and least merit of this category in any engineering discipline was 64%..

more than 270 in entry test. merit of other campuses of uet lahore is lesser. so you’ve got good chances.

70% weight of B-Tech or DAE(in whichever examination your percentage marks are higher) and 30% weight of ECAT marks will be counted towards calculation of your final aggregate.

Yes there are separate seats. If your FSc marks exceed 900 then you should get above 290 marks to get into civil engineering. however merit of narowal campus civil engg is lower than that of main campus.

W.salam! for engineering disciplines, ECAT is considered. For software engineering, IT and CS, there is separate test (admission in PUCIT).

There is no test for BS Physics. your matric and FSc marks will be counted towards merit calculation.

Aap FSc ki books read karen. Wahan pe jo concepts dye gae hein unko samajhne ki koshish karen, is mein ap doston se help le skte hein. agar koi apka friend uet mein hai to ye aur bhi acha hai. uet ka test bohat asan hota hai. english k lye aap paragraph reading ki practice kijye.
